Summary of Impact:
Between 6:50am ET to 9:04am ET, Canadian customers may have experienced a service disruption on TitanFile, preventing access to the platform. This only impacted Canadian customers on https://app.titanfile.com.
Preliminary Root Cause:
One of the resources providing TitanFile’s file storage service experienced an infrastructure hardware failure on the Azure platform.
Azure’s automatic recovery failed and our engineers engaged in assessing the problem. After several failed attempts due to Azure internal system errors, we successfully recovered from the failed state at 9:04 am ET. The TitanFile app was back online at 9:12am ET.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused and will continue to work with the Microsoft Azure team to prevent future occurrences.
