International Women’s Day 2024

What is International Women’s Day?

On Friday, March 8th, 2024, we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) worldwide to honour the achievements and contributions of women from all walks of life. IWD is a focal point of the Women’s Rights Movement which sought equal rights, opportunities, and personal freedom for women in the 60’s and 70’s. Now, International Women’s Day raises awareness of our past struggles, a celebration of progress towards achieving gender equality and a call for action for the work remaining to be done.

At TitanFile, we know that the work we accomplish could not be completed without the brilliant, determined, and creative women who work toward our goals. Our trailblazers work cross-departmentally in sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support to meet the needs of our clients every day. Today, we’d like to highlight their voices.

The Women of TitanFile

For International Women’s Day, we sat down with the women at TitanFile to listen to their experiences and reflect on their time at TitanFile. From these conversations, we would like to highlight a few members of our Toronto-based team:

Jess Huynh joined our team in July 2020 and has become an indispensable asset to our Engineering team. Prior to working at TitanFile, Jess utilized her strong analytical skills and attention to detail in the healthcare industry which has translated into building features that support our healthcare clients.

Jess has developed our Secure Submit UI which enables external users to securely send documents to clients in a simple and effective way. Additionally, Jess pioneered our API development which is strongly utilized by top AM law firms and government agencies.

We asked Jess: “What has been your favourite outcome from your time at TitanFile”

Jess responded: “Over the past three years, I’ve developed my skill set and built some incredible features with TitanFile.”

Jo Rodrigues joined our team in December 2021 and has shaped our client experience like no other. As our Community Manager, Jo wears multiple hats. She is responsible for our social media presence, event planning, and managing client support with our Customer Success team. During her time at TitanFile, she produced the ILTA x TitanFile Toronto Social for all Toronto-based ILTA chapter members; An evening for networking and sharing experiences in Toronto’s legal tech space which brought together 25+ firms from across the city.

We asked Jo: What is your favourite part of the job?

Jo responded: “I love the creative freedom that my team entrusts in me. Making art and helping clients are my favourite part of the job!”

Adrienne Aust joined our team in August 2020 and took our sales team by storm. As mentioned on her LinkedIn, Adrienne is dedicated to fostering lasting relationships with clients, working collaboratively to align TitanFile’s innovative solutions with their strategic objectives. She utilizes her BA background in economics, exceptional sociability, and unfaltering determination to create great relationships with clients and continuously meet and exceed sales goals.

We asked Adrienne: What are you most proud of at TitanFile?

Adrienne responded: “I’ve built strong relationships in the legal tech industry and love helping my clients tap into their full potential.”

These are only a few of the amazing women who continue to make TitanFile thrive. To continue the festivities of International Women’s Day, our team will be joining the International Legal Technology Association at the Women Leading Change event in NYC on March 21st.

TitanFile is proud to be joining our International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) peers at the ILTA Catalyst: Women Leading Change event at Vinson & Elkins in New York. The flagship event provides a remarkable opportunity for women leading change in their respective industries to interactively network and educate one another.

Our Account Executive, Adrienne Aust, and Software Engineer, Jess Huynh, are delighted to be attending the event and look forward to networking with other ILTA peers.
